Like most folks, my wife and I enjoy things about nature. Any pictures, stories, articles, periodicals, poems, movies & documentaries, usually catch our attention.

Recently, we were interested in a documentary about wild life on the Serengeti Plains in Africa. The film dealt with predators and prey and focused on the cheetah and zebra species.

Did you know that the cheetah is the fastest land animal on our planet and can reach speeds of 70 MPH or better? Because of its dynamic speed and agility, it usually runs down its prey in less than a minute. Its speed is nearly twice that of any prey, and the chase is usually over in 200- 500 metres.
