I remember the first time I tried to buy something on eBay, and it didn’t go well. I found this great golf driver and was motivated to buy it but had no idea really how to go about it. I looked around on the site and found out where I was to enter my bid, and instead of bidding 150 dollars, I had bid 1500! I totally panicked for a bit until I discovered how to cancel my bid and was able to breathe again.
As I said before, sometimes it can be easy to miscommunicate.
For many, Easter is a great time to spend with family, enjoy some relaxation, maybe share a special meal, or get away for a short vacation. All of these things are excellent, but none of them have anything to do with Easter.
You see, if we think Easter is about these things, then we are really missing the point...there is a disconnect in the communication of its true meaning.
It’s true that Easter is a celebration. Still, it’s a celebration of the fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead in victory over sin and death, is alive and actively inviting all of us to accept Him as Savior that can literally change the course of our lives.
I hope you enjoy all the good things that come your way on Easter, but I hope, most of all, that you hear the true meaning of Easter through Jesus Himself, the Risen One!
