"I am so thankful for the trust and support of the members in nominating me as candidate here in Dakota-Arm River," said Wiens. "This Sask Party government is tired and out of touch. They voted against suspending the gas tax which would have saved families hundreds of dollars. They just don't get it. It's clear that it's time for change."
Jordan Wiens is a research agrologist. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan in Agronomy and Soil Chemistry and grew up on a grain farm. Jordan is dedicated to building a brighter future for Saskatchewan families.
"I am so glad to have a community leader like Jordan joining our team," said Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck. "I know that Jordan is an incredible addition to our Sask NDP team and will be an outstanding MLA for the people of Dakota-Arm River."
Wiens is the forty-sixth candidate nominated for the Saskatchewan NDP. The next nomination will be a contested nomination in the constituency of Melville-Saltcoats on Tuesday, August 6.
