...as stated in the 2020 audited statement, for informational purposes to the ratepayers of the RM of McKillops #220 and the public.

RM Mckillop - Financial statement - Schedule 10 page 34
In the RM of McKillop #220 newsletter that has accompanied the tax notices for the last two years, the RM council has stated that previous councils have taken money from the organized hamlets reserve accounts.
That same narrative was used at the hamlet committee meeting in the Bulyea hall in November 2020.
Yearly audits for the RM of McKillop #220 have never supported these statements. Also, the review by the ministerial appointed investigator did not support these statements. In addition, the forensic audit, petitioned for and obtained by the RM #220 ratepayers association (RPA), and conducted under the guidance and supervision of this current resort-based council - with input from other RPA members - did not support these claims.
The following information, taken from the audit of the RM of McKillop for the year ending December 31, 2020, shows the combined reserves of the organized hamlets grew by $198,811.00, to reach a total of $1,598,630.00. These combined reserve totals have grown every year.

I would ask the RM of McKillop #220 council to stop promoting this false and misleading information to the ratepayers of this municipality.
