Obituary - Hanson, Doris Helena

It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Helena Hanson of Strasbourg announces her passing on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the age of 89 years. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Doris is lovingly remembered by her sons Greg (Wanda) and Rob (Nola); daughter Kelly; grandchildren, Jessica (Jason), Caitlin (Andrew), Clint (Alyssa), Cody (Lindsay) and Kyle (Kayla); great-grandsons, Emmett, Kayce, Rhett, Jax, Bo and Rowan; and brother-in-law Donald (Aileen) Hansen. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Cliff Hanson; parents Andrew and Olga Pederson; sisters, Selma (Joe) Curtin, Anne (George) Flotre, Marie (Ralph) Bjelland, Alice (Don) Lehman, Edna (Bob) Nicholson, Bertha (Ed) Fries and Gladys Pederson; brothers, Alfred (Bea) Pederson and Andrew (Laura) Pederson; daughter-in-law Kathy Hanson; uncle Nils Pederson, parents-in-law Oscar (Cal) Hansen; brother-in-law George (Marie) Hansen; and sister-in-law Dorothy (Tommy) Wills.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Norrona Lutheran Church, Bulyea, SK, followed by coffee and dainties at the Bulyea Community Hall.

A special thank you to the staff at the Last Mountain Pioneer Home and Strasbourg Health Clinic for the compassionate care that Mom received. The family is truly grateful to you all.
