Obituary - HODGINS, D. Clare
1953 – 2024
Clare Hodgins, late, of Semans, SK., passed away peacefully with his family at his side in the Regina Pasqua Palliative Care Unit on July 31, 2024 at the age of 71 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Heather, and his children, daughter Leah (Kyle) Worth and son Christopher (Amy) Hodgins. He will be deeply missed by his sister, Roberta Foster and his sister-in-law Bev Hodgins as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Clare was predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Hilda Hodgins, brother Russell Hodgins, parents-in-law Harry and Marjorie Hine and brother-in-law Don Foster. Clare and Heather lived and farmed north of Semans. Over the years Clare enjoyed hockey games, hunting with friends and family, boating at Last Mountain Lake, visits on the road or in the field, crop tours with his wife and family and coffee with friends and family.
Clare's family was very special to him and he was always interested in their activities and daily lives.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff at the Pasqua Palliative Care Unit for the exceptional care he received during his time there.
A Memorial Service will be held at Semans United Church on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Henrietta Hilderman presiding. Lunch will follow at the Semans Gym.
