1964 – China detonates its first nuclear weapon.

1994 – In Valledupar, Colombia a branch of the central bank, Banco de la Republica was robbed. The amount stolen was roughly $33 million US and came to be known as the “El Robo del Siglo” - The bank heist of the century.
