Public Notice - Town of Southey

INTENT

The proposed amendment would be rezoning a portion of the NE ¼ Sec. 7-TWP.23-RGE.18-W.2Mer (shown on map below from FUD – Future Urban Development District to $1- Residential District.

REASON

To rezone a portion of the NE1/4 Sec. 7-TWP.23-RGE.18-W.2MER (shown on map below, to accommodate the for future residential development.

PUBLIC INSPECTION

Any person may inspect the Bylaw at the town office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (closed through the noon hour) and excluding statutory holidays.

PUBLIC HEARING

Council will hold a public hearing on August 13, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the Town CAO at the town office before the hearing. The town office is located at 260 Keats Street (Box 248), Southey, SK S0G 4P0. The town office can also be contacted at (306) 726-2202 or townofsouthey@sasktel.net with questions.
