The Market located at Rowan’s Ridge RV Resort just outside of Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park is open rain or shine from 11-3 pm every Sunday throughout the summer.
Marcie Strong of Rowan’s Ridge said attendees have well received the Market.
“People are happy to see something in the area, and it’s a good way to support local business.”
Strong said there were 20 vendors at the last Market and is continuing to grow.
Locally grown vegetables, woodworkers, wares by local artisans, spirits from Smooth 42 Distillery, Leaning Maple Meats, freshly roasted coffee from Saskoffee, Tiber River and Jocelyn’s Pies (and perogies) are just a few of the vendors that were on site for the day.
The Market is conveniently located on Highway 220. The Province is currently paving the section of the highway, and recent issues of dust and washboard driving surface during the road construction have been resolved.
The Market is tucked behind the food trucks and Trading Post gift shop that carries an array of candy and locally made gifts from Saskatchewan artisans.
