
including paintings (acrylic and alcohol), jewellery, pottery, board games, crochet, photography, and garden art, all offering opportunities to purchase that special gift for Mom.
The Sew’n’Sews Quilters Room was open for viewing the amazing creations on display and enticing new potential members to join the group.
The pARTy Time art class had students and instructors displaying what they accomplished during the last year, much to the amazement of viewing visitors. The Govan Museum and Historical Society members were on hand to proudly display and discuss much of the content they have received from the local area residents and the touring photographs of Barns.

Librarian Vicky Wilson was on hand to discuss new developments and programs coming in the next few months. Thanks to all the bakers out there, lots of goodies went home from the bake sale.
What event would be complete without a favourite dessert? Special shout out to the Govan Catering Group for offering Strawberry shortcakes with mounds of toppings accompanied by Coffee or tea. Colleen, Danita and Lynn were kept hustling to deliver this classic to patrons.

Last year’s event was such a success that many participants and visitors were asking, “when is the next one?” before it was even over. Well, the next planned event will be the upcoming Friends of Govan Fall Fair on September 3/2022. The organizing group considered many praises and reviews, so this year’s Fair will expand to include a children’s activity and live entertainment.
