
The Board of Education will once again match cash donations up to $5,000 to support the project, which has seen hampers delivered to 2,467 children in 951 families throughout the division over the past eight years.
“The generosity of our communities is second to none,” said Kevin Garinger, Director of Education. “Thanks to the kindness of so many and the support of our Board, we are able to lend a hand to Horizon families during the holidays.”
Donations personal hygiene items, blankets and winter clothing (toques, mitts, scarves and socks) are graciously accepted, and tax receipts will be issued for cash donations.
