“We would like to recognize and thank all those working to meet the basic needs of vulnerable community members,” said Adrienne Jackson, Board Chair. “We’re grateful that we are able to find a safe way to provide support to individuals and families where we live, work and learn.”
The Humboldt & District Food Bank, Lanigan & District Food Bank, Wadena Food Bank, Watrous Food Bank and Wynyard Food Bank each received $100 to assist with the purchase of food and other necessities this holiday season.
An internal food drive is also being supported by Carlton Trail College’s Board and staff. Donations from the food drive will be provided to food bank organization(s) at a later date.
