“I am honoured to continue serving as Chair and appreciate being given this leadership opportunity by my Board of Education colleagues. I am proud of the dedication to learning we see from our students, staff, Board members, and senior leaders and am grateful for the support of our communities,” said Kotylak. “This fall, our Board approved our new school division strategic plan and I’m looking forward to seeing our goals implemented as we work to serve our students with a comprehensive plan that provides for all learning needs while valuing the uniqueness of the communities we serve.”
From Montmartre, Kotylak has served in the education sector since her election to Montmartre’s local school board in 1997. She is in her 11th consecutive term as Chair and her 18th year as a Prairie Valley Board member. She also has served on boards at the provincial level, including as the Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA) Executive Member representing the Southern Constituency. Kotylak and her husband operate a livestock and grain farm.
Judy Bradley was first elected to the Prairie Valley Board of Education in 2015 and has held the position of Vice-Chair since 2018. Judy is the Board’s representative on the Public Section of the SSBA. Bradley was an educator for more than 25 years before retiring as principal of Milestone School. She also served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan from 1991 to 1999.
“I am proud of the work our Board has done to bring local voices to our new strategic plan through our Student Senates and School Community Councils,” said Bradley. “Our Board is focused on doing great things for students and growing the next generation of fully engaged citizens. I am honoured to serve as Vice-Chair for the Prairie Valley Board of Education. I appreciate the opportunity to continue sharing my passion for high-quality education and serving the communities we represent as Board members.”
