On January 11, 2025, the Swift Current Judo Club hosted the first Provincial tournament of 2025 at the All Saints Catholic School.

Despite the unexpected weather, the competition attracted 65 athletes from around the province.

Next for Judo Saskatchewan are the premier events of the season. The Sask Open and the Western Canada Kata Championships on January 24, 25,& 26 at the Fieldhouse in Regina, SK. 380 athletes combined for 556 entries.
