Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Village of Earl Grey intends to adopt a bylaw pursuant to Section 199 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007 for the EXCHANGE of dedicated lands. 

INTENT:

The proposed bylaw will allow for the EXCHANGE of a MUNICIPAL RESERVE parcel. 

AFFECTED LAND'S:

Block B1, Plan 77R31053, Ext. 0; 
Lots 1 & 2, Block 3, Plan E2774, Ext. O 
Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block F, Plan 77R31053, Ext. O

REASON:

Block B1 is a sellable lot as it is level and not subject to flooding. Lots 1 & 2, Block 3 and Lots 9, F are not sellable lots as a community park is on Lots 1 & 2, Block 3 and Lots 9, 10, 11 & 12 are subject to flooding.

PUBLIC INSPECTION: 

Any person may inspect the bylaw at the municipal office at 212 Main Street in Earl Grey, SK. between 9:00a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost. 

PUBLIC HEARING: 

Council will hold a public hearing on February 12, 2025 at 6:01 p.m. at the municipal office at 212 Main Street in Earl Grey, SK. to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing.
