Town treads water on swimming pool plans, ten-year master-plan in development
With the community survey completed, the Town of Lumsden has hoved discussions addressing the need for a community swimming pool

Councillor Jenelle Brennan, one of the town representatives who sat in on the Lumsden Aquatic Facility Committee (LAFC), said pool talk flowed into discussion with Council members about the Town's overall recreational plan. "We saw that there was a desire for it in the community. But just the way that we are kind of on the precipice of growth and the fact that the ownership of the rink is unique in our community, we wanted to take this pool plan and incorporate it into a grander ten-year master plan."
